Janice Shaw

SHAW, Janice Dorothy, suddenly at her home in Dorset on Monday, January 25, 2010 at the age of 62. Beloved wife of the late Brian F. Shaw and dear mother of Graham Shaw and his wife Jennifer of Waterdown and loving grandmother of Gavin. She was the sister of the late Karen Pettigrew. Janice enjoyed a career in education, first at Aberfoyle and then for many years at Prince Charles Public School in Brantford. Friends will be received at the Reynolds Funeral Home "Turner Chapel", 1 Mary St., Bracebridge (705-645-2257) on Friday, February 5, 2010 from 10 a.m. until the time of her memorial service at 11 a.m. A second visitation and service for friends in the Hamilton area will be held at the Crestmount Funeral Home "Fennell Chapel", 322 Fennell Ave. E., Hamilton (905-387-2111) on Saturday, February 6, 2010 from 1-3 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m. Memorial gifts to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
