Joan Brown

BROWN, Joan Elaine Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 14th, 2012 at Hospice Simcoe in Barrie in her 75th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Clive Brown. Loving mother of Gordon Brown (Jane), Linda Ralston and Kimberly Metcalfe (Brian). Cherished grandmother of David, Daniel, Krysta, Lindsey, Michael, Julianne, Stephanie and Carling. Dear sister of Sandra Birnie (Al) and their children Jennifer and Nancy. Joan will be missed by her brother and sister in-laws Peg and Bill (David and Jennifer), Tom and Bernadette (Wendy, Susan, Clive, Alex, Natalie, Vanessa and Brenda) and the late Ross and his wife Bernie (Kevin and Ian). Joan also leaves behind her best friend Princess Jewells of Carlingford Bay. A private family burial will take place in the spring.
