MORTON, John Alfred "Jack" Passed away suddenly, at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, in Bracebridge, on Friday, July 24, 2009, in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Sandi of Bracebridge. Loving father of Bill (Joan) and Danny of Nova Scotia. Proud grandfather of Joey & Andy Morton of Nova Scotia. Dear brother of Don of Moonstone. Predeceased by his parents Evelyn and Joseph Tilden and his brother William. Of Jack's many accomplishments, he was a Chartered Accountant; past General Manager of Sunnybrook Hospital (SHUTC); Commodore of Toronto Humber Yacht Club; Founding Member and Vice Commodore of Mimico Cruising Club; A member of the Probis Club of Bracebridge and a long time member of the Boulevard Club. At Jack's request, cremation has taken place. A funeral to honour him will be held at Reynolds Funeral Home ‘Turner Chapel', 1 Mary St., Bracebridge, ON, on Thursday, July 30, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. As your expression of sympathy, memorial gifts to the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation, specifically the Oncology Unit, would be appreciated by the family.
