JOHN ROSS WHYTOCK
1933-2018
Passed away peacefully on Saturday October 27, 2018 surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his lovely wife Margaret of 56 years; his five children Mary-(Chuck), Heather, David- (Sigrid), Lynne-(Randy) and Mark-(Linda); along with 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
All who encountered Ross were entranced by his kindness, geniality and consideration, always making time for everyone in his presence. His heart was full, his devotion to family great, his spirit enduring. He will be sorely missed.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday November 10, 2018 from 1:00pm-2:00pm at Knox Presbyterian Church, 120 Taylor Rd. Bracebridge, with a reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to either the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
Special thanks to all who cared for Ross at Bracebridge Memorial Hospital and extra thanks for the palliative care nurses, Becky and Catherine, who cared for him in his final days.
