John Young (Former Mayor of Twsp. Muskoka Lakes) Who died peacefully at his home in Bracebridge on Thursday, January 29th, 2015 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Lenore Young (nee King) of Bracebridge. Dear father of Brenda McLoughlin (David) of Oshawa, Nancy Calic of Bracebridge, and Dr. Alan Young (Sue) of Brookings, South Dakota. Pre-deceased by his son-in-law Tom Calic. Loving grandfather of Jennifer, Becky (Mike), Jason (Teleetha), Andrew (Lisa), Christopher, Katy and Adam, and great-grandfather of Mya, Cadence, Payton and Renny. The family will receive friends at the Reynolds Funeral Home "Turner Chapel" in Bracebridge on Monday, February 2nd, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, February 3rd, 2015 @ 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Windermere United Church.
