Judith Wooster

Wooster, Judith Young (nee Appleby), Paul (Jan) Wooster & Lesley (Garth) Oates sadly announce the peaceful passing of their mother Judith Young Wooster on Sunday, August 9th, 2009 at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge after a short yet valiant battle with cancer. Mom's passing reunites her with the love of her life Lionel Charles (Charlie) Wooster. Judy was the loving Nannie of Daniel and Grams to Sean (lori), Derek (Steph), Bryan (Jenny), Jen (Brad). Also a great-grandma to Alex & Jamie Oates. She will be greatly missed by her sister Ann (Jim) Clarke, Barb (Ken) Irish and her brother Paul (Brenda) Appleby. Her love will always be carried in the hearts of all her nieces and nephews, her family in England, dearest friends Bonnie McKenzie, Nancy Gray, Laurene Winkler as well as all the wonderful friends and acquaintances she had over the years. On June 28th, 2005, Judy & Lesley's lives were changed as mother and daughter were reunited. A life long search was over for Judy and the loving mother that Lesley dreamed of was now a part of her life. Their time together was much to short but the impact on each of their lives will last forever. Their love and commitment joined their families as one. Heartaches may lessen but the love forever in our hearts. Never have we as a family experienced so much care and compassion in not only the care of Mom but towards our entire family. Many, Many thanks go out to Dr. Vickie Dechert and her colleagues for their constant care & support. The nursing staff and other staff members at S.M.M.H. need to be recognized for their amazing ability to provide patients with so much heartfelt attention. They truly cared for mom as if she was their family. Bracebridge should be extremely proud of these dedicated workers who made a difficult situation manageable. The family request that donations be made to the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation in memory of Judith Young Wooster. At Judy's request no funeral service will be held. Just hold on to your memories.
