Karl Neuenhagen

In Memory of Karl-Heinz Neuenhagen 1933 to 2016 Passed away peacefully with his wife and children by his side in his 83rd year on Monday, March 14th, 2016 at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge, ON. Karl-Heinz will be dearly missed by his beloved wife of 58 years, Margrit, as well as by his dear children, Martin (Fiona) and Andrea (Derek), his darling grandchildren, Sarah, Emily, Alex, Shelby, Amanda and Robert, and also by his brother, Herbert in Germany. Karl-Heinz is predeceased by his beloved son, Randolph-Heinz, his parents, Lina and Wilhelm Neuenhagen, and his siblings Irmgard, Heinrich and Annie. Karl-Heinz was a skilled craftsman, a passionate vocalist and longtime member of The Germania Choir of Hamilton, he enjoyed walking at the Bracebridge Sportsplex and made many wonderful friends while there, most importantly, he was a loyal, loving, upstanding and hardworking family man who leaves this world without regret and proud of his life and rich legacy; a wealthy man who has left an indelible imprint on the many hearts and lives he touched. The family extends their special thanks to Dr. A. Drohomyrecky and Dr. P. Burns for the exceptional care they provided Karl in the last days of his life. As well as to the exceptional nurses Spencer, Margo and Alana at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital who provided the utmost compassionate care and kindness to Karl and his family. Karl was a spiritual man and the family wishes to extend their thanks to Rev. Nancy Knox who provided pastoral comfort to Karl and his family in their time of need. In keeping with Karl-Heinz's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of his Life will take place on Saturday, March 26th at 1:00 p.m. at Bracebridge United Church, 46 Dominion Street.
