AITKEN, Kathryn Ann Passed away surrounded by her loving family at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, in Bracebridge, on Friday, August 18, 2017, following her long battle with breast cancer. Born November, 5, 1956, Kathryn is the beloved wife of Reverend Bruce Aitken of Bracebridge. Loving mother of Scott (Desirée), Paul (Stephanie) and Luke (Danielle). She is the proud grandmother of Zachary, Lizzie, Jack, Jade & Sawyer. Daughter of Doris Lemon and the late Hugh Lemon. Predeceased by Doris's second husband Bob Miller and sister-in-law Gloria Schaus. Kathy is lovingly remembered by her brother Tom and Rosemarie Lemon (Kennaley); by her dear mother-in-law Elletta Aitken; by her sisters-in-law Vera and Frank Lappano; Ferne and Wes Abell; and brothers-in-law Clark and MaryLynn Aitken; Gary Schaus; and all of her nephews, nieces and cousins. Friends will be received at the Reynolds Funeral Home ‘Turner Chapel' in Bracebridge, on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be held at Pinegrove Fellowship Church on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The Canadian Cancer Society (directed to Metastatic Breast Cancer Research), The South Muskoka Hospital Foundation or the Harvest Bible Chapel Muskoka.
