Lillian Eva Woods

December 24th, 1929- December 20th 2019

Lillian Eva (Boyes) Woods passed away peacefully at the Pines just four days shy of her 90th Birthday. Lil (as she was fondly known) was the daughter of Amy and Reg Boyes, both predeceased. Bracebridge was Lil’s home town and after a time working south of the border, Lil returned to enjoy a lengthy career at the Bracebridge Hospital.

Lil was preceded in death by her husband Marlow Woods, brothers Ken Boyes, Clarence Boyes, and Vern Boyes. Surviving siblings include sisters Kathleen (Kay) Harrell and Margorie Taylor.

Lil enjoyed spending time with her nephew Brian Harrell and his wife (Paula Harrell) and all of her extended family including Boyes and Harrell members. She has many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Lil will be remembered and missed by family and friends. A special thank you to the amazing staff at the Pines. They are truly caring and compassionate which helped Lil feel at home for the last six years.

Lil will be cremated and there will be no service as per her request.
