Linda Finch (Henry)

It’s with great sadness that we say goodbye to our sister Linda Finch (Henry). Linda was born to Frank and Ivie Henry on December 9, 1957 and after a long illness, passed away December 9, 2024. Linda grew up in Bracebridge and went on to further education in North Bay at Canadore College, where she attained her diploma in marketing. After leaving North Bay she moved to Toronto where she worked at a PR Firm for a few years and then spent the rest of her career at a Law Firm where she managed a large office. Linda loved her work and coworkers and was very dedicated to her job. Linda was very active in her community serving on many committees and boards. She was very civic minded and loved being with people of like mind. She brought a ray of sunshine wherever she went. People always commented on how positive Linda was and that was never more true than when she was faced with her long battle with cancer. She managed to persevere with positivity and had compassion for others facing similar circumstances.

Lind had moved to England and married the love of her life, Trevor, in 2010. They had nearly 14 happy years together as husband and wife until Trevor too was taken from us in February of this year. Linda will be forever remembered as a generous, giving and enthusiastic woman, with a love of family, travel and life. She will be dearly missed by her many friends and relatives.

Especially her brother Steve and wife Yolande, her sister Susan and husband Chris and her beloved nieces and nephews and their families, her two stepsons in England, Steve and Chris Finch and Steve’s son Jake. Interment will be in the Spring.
