Lois Purdon

Purdon, Lois Betty (nee Connor) passed away peacefully at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge on September 28th, 2009 at 2:50 a.m. with her beloved daughter Deborah by her side. She is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years Gerald Arthur Purdon. A wonderful mother fondly remembered by her children Deborah, Gregory (April), John (Debbie) and Chad (Anna). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Tanya (Rahim), Gerry, Jeremy, Marina and great grandchildren Airon, Shaheem, Matthew, Shakeel and Aleeyah. Lois is welcomed in heaven by her late granddaughter Christina. The family will receive friends at the Reynolds Funeral home" Turner Chapel" in Bracebridge on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral mass will be held at St Joseph's Catholic Church in Bracebridge on Saturday, October 3rd, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Trout Creek at 2:30 p.m. Donations may be made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation.
