Cathcart, Lyle Elmer Passed away peacefully at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital on Monday, October 16, 2017 with his loving family by his side. Predeceased by his loving wife of 64 years, Margaret (nee Solesky) in 2013. Devoted and loving father of Marsha (Jeffrey Smart) and adored and proud grandfather of Nathaniel and Annalise Smart. Predeceased by their son Marshall. Predeceased by his parents, Elmer and Mary Frances Cathcart and step-mother Annie Cathcart. Survived by his sisters Winona Allison and Iris Bristow and brother Elwin Cathcart. Predeceased by step brother Ray Soleski and his wife Patricia Soleski (nee Conway). Friends will be received at the Reynolds Funeral Home "Turner Chapel", on Wednesday October 18th, 2017 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9. The funeral will be held at the Bracebridge Fair Grounds on Thursday, October 19th at 11 am. Private interment at St. Thomas Anglican Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation, the Lion's Club Foundation, Bracebridge United Church or the Shriner's Hospital for Children will be appreciated.
