Margaret Boyes

BOYES, Margaret "Peggy" (nee Lazenby) Beloved wife of the late Kenneth G. Boyes passed away peacefully on May 13th, 2014 at Muskoka Algonquin Hospital in Bracebridge in her 93rd year with her family by her side. Margaret was born July 7th, 1921 in Yorkshire, Leeds, England. Margaret married Kenneth on August 6th, 1945 at St. James Anglican Church, England. In 1946 Margaret came to Canada as a war bride on the ship "Lady Nelson" to be with her husband and settled in Bracebridge, Ontario. She was a devoted mother to Ken and his wife Lynn, Diane and her husband Neil Johnson, David and his wife Esther, Carl and his wife Darlene, Darlene and her husband Randy Bloomfield and Colin and his wife Sue. She was a loving grandmother to Kevin, Tammy, Mathew, Ryan, Julie, Christopher, Michael, Carla, Tracy, Jody, Jamie and Riley. Great grandmother of fourteen. Margaret will also be sadly missed by her many relatives in both England and Canada and her many friends that she had the pleasure of meeting over the years at the Pines. She was loved by all who knew her. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Donations to the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation or to The Pines would be appreciated.
