Preece, Margaret Isabella, Proud member of the W.R.E.N.S serving in World War 11 died peacefully at The Pines Long term care residence in Bracebridge, on Saturday, November 14th, 2009 in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Leslie Preece. Loving mother of Gordon and his wife Hetty of Brampton, Beverley Lawson and her husband Bruce of Bracebridge, and the late Ronald. Dear sister of Mollie McHarg of Dunfermline, Scotland. Proud grandmother of Christopher Preece and his wife Kelly, Kimberly Preece, Lesley and her husband Mike Uniac and David Lawson. Great grandmother of Sean, Kaylee, Alyssa and Brady. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at St. John's United Church, 2 Nobert Rd., Toronto, Ontario, on Wednesday, November 18th, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the The Pines Community Support Committee Fund would be appreciated. Interment of cremated remains will take place in Ayr Scotland where Margaret was born and raised. Many thanks to the caring staff at the Pines.
