Margot Krause

Margot Krause (nee Zehoff) Former owner of the Holiday Haven Resort in Dorset for 20 years. Involved in mortgage lending, with her husband, through Heritage Investments in Bracebridge (Wayne Kitchen) for over 30 years. Long-time resident of Bracebridge, after retirement, with her dear husband George, her partner in business and life. Margot died peacefully, in her sleep, at the Leacock Care Centre in Orillia on Tuesday, May 10th, 2016. Although Margot and George did not have children they made many dear friends over the years, whether it was on Kawagama Lake in Dorset or during their travels each winter to Largo Florida or to Germany, where they have still have family living. On Tuesday, May 17th, 2016 Margot would have celebrated her 79th birthday and the next day she and George would have celebrated 53 years of marriage. Margot is also survived by her sister-in-law Ingrid Behnsen in Germany along with three nephews and one niece. In keeping with her wishes Margot has been cremated and will be laid to rest at the Municipal Cemetery in Bracebridge in a private ceremony.
