Marian Ruttan

December 1, 1916 — January 18, 2010

Marian Alexandra Ruttan died peacefully at The Pines Long Term Care Residence in Bracebridge on Monday, January 18th, 2010 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Edward Ruttan. Dear mother of Sandra Melvin, Ruth Ruttan, Bruce (Edith) Ruttan and Nancy (Ron) Acton. Marian will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Annette, Robert, Deanne, Cassie, Corrie, Tom, Betty, Joanne and Arlene and her ten great grandchildren. Sister of the late Edna Saunders, Mabel, William, Allan and Wes Doley. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at Reynolds Funeral Home "Turner Chapel" in Bracebridge on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at 2-4 and 7-9. The funeral will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations can be made to the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation, CNIB, or Langford Cemetery.
