It is with great sadness that after a long, hard fight with cancer, we announce the passing of Marion Eleanor Charmaine Overhult Edwards. Predeceased by her parents Art & Violet Hanigan. She was born in London, Ontario on October 27, 1949 and passed away quietly at Douglas Memorial Hospital, Fort Erie, Ontario, on April 20, 2016 at 10:25 a.m. Marion Leaves behind her loving daughter Melissa May Towns-Carignan (Christopher Michael Carignan). She is Nana to Jeffery, Elizabeth (a.k.a. Carter), Michael & Daniel and Great Grandmother to Fayth Carr. She is also an adopted mother and Nana to many more. Visitation will be held at Reynolds Funeral Home ‘Turner Chapel' on Sunday, April 24, 2016 from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m., with the funeral in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion, Bracebridge Branch. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice. At this time, we would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Marion's Fort Erie family of Sandee, Tristen, Shaebian & Gloria, for all their diligent hard work taking care of mom in her final years. We love you Mom, Nana, Friend.
