VERWEY, Martha 1919-2017 Passed away peacefully at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge, on June 12, 2017 at age 97. Beloved wife of the late Gijsbertus Petrus "Bert" Verwey. Loving mother of Tjeerd, Jeanne, Mar and the late Ben, Hank & John. Survived by daughters-in-law Robbie & Debra. Predeceased by daughters-in-law Sandra & Johanne and son-in-law Gerrit. Grandmother to 15, great grandmother to 19 and great great grandmother to 1. Predeceased by her 2 sisters and 1 brother. A short Memorial Service will be held at McVittie Place, 102 Pine St. Bracebridge in the Parlour Room on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 1:30 pm. Visitation will follow the service. A Memorial Service will also be held at the First Christian Reform Church, 181 Charleton Ave. W. Hamilton on Monday, June 26, 2017 at 1:30 pm. Memorial donations made to the First Hamilton Christian Reformed Church, 181 Charlton Ave W, Hamilton, ON L8P 2C9 or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
