CALHOUN, MARVIN In loving memory of Marvin Alfred Calhoun, 76 years, who passed away suddenly May 1st, 2014. Cherished son of Marshall and Alice Calhoun (both predeceased). Loving father of Leanne (Jamie) and Stephen (Michelle). Cherished Grandpa of Ryan. Loving brother of Lola, Stan, Irene (predeceased), Sheldon (predeceased), and Shirley (predeceased). Marvin will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews, dear friends, and also his kennel groups (Muskoka Kennel Club & Georgian Bay Hunt & Retrieving Club). Marvin worked at Ontario Hydro for over 25 years and upon retirement he enjoyed training and breeding dogs, and loved spending time with friends doing the same. An avid outdoorsman, Marvin was also involved in coaching minor hockey for many years in the Bracebridge area. Friends will be received at Reynolds Funeral Home ‘Turner Chapel', in Bracebridge, on Thursday, May 8, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or your local animal shelter would be appreciated by the family.
