Mary Taylor

TAYLOR, Mary Elizabeth (nee Currie) Died peacefully at the Bracebridge Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at the age of 68. Daughter of the late Jack and Blanche Currie. Cherished mother of Joanne Lenze (Andreas) of Bracebridge and John Taylor (Brenda) of Cambridge. Loving grandmother of Joanne's children Tristan Bissonette and Joshua Bissonette and John's child Zachary Taylor. Loving sister of Brian Currie (Andrea) of Huntsville and Don Currie (Vilenna) of Bracebridge. Mary also leaves behind many nieces and nephews that were dear to her heart. Mary was born in Timmins, Ontario and moved to Muskoka in 1953 to live on the family farm in Bardsville. Mary had a rewarding career in nursing and retired from the William Osler Health Centre, Brampton, Ontario, in April 2013. Mary moved to beautiful Muskoka in February 2014 and enjoyed spending time with family at many lakeside barbeques. Friends will be received at the Bracebridge United Church, 46 Dominion Street, Bracebridge on Saturday, December 6th, 2014 from 1 - 2 p.m. with the Service following at 2 p.m. A special thank you to the wonderful care received from Dr. O'Shaughnessy, Dr. Harrold, Terri Pain, HPC Nurse Consultant, and the amazing nurses from Closing The Gap.
