It is with extreme sorrow and sadness to announce the passing of this lovely lady in her 83rd year. She was the much-loved wife of 57 years to Dr. Tony Moran, and proud mother of Jolyon, Amanda, and Keith.
She was born in Carlisle, UK, the only daughter of the late George and Edna Clow. She entered the nursing college of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Tyneside, UK, and graduated as an RN.
She worked at Newcastle General Hospital until she married the love of her life in February 1965. Upon the graduation of her loving husband, they relocated to Northaptonshire, where she started her family of three children.
In 1975 the family emigrated to Canada and settled in Bracebridge, Ontario. Here she flourished and made a happy and loving family home. She had many friends through her many activities.
She may not be seen now, but she will remain in the hearts of many people forever. At her request, cremation has already taken place. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation in her memory to South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, where the staff had been treating and caring for her over the last few months.
