SPECK, Mervin Henry A proud member of Muskoka and former owner and operator of Merv's Meat Market and later Stone's Ladies & Men's wear both of Bracebridge. Member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows and the First Baptist Church. Mervin passed away peacefully at his home in Bracebridge on Sunday, June 28th, 2015 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Betty Speck (nee Leeder). Loving father of Deborah Payne and the late Marshall Payne, Christina Purdon (Robert) and Dwight Speck (Stephanie). Cherished grandfather of Terra Bohm (Stefan), Erik Payne (Jennifer), Lance Payne, Leslie Purdon, Keira Purdon, Taylor Speck and Samantha Speck. Great-grandfather of Mason Bohm, Carson and Brooklyn Payne. Dear brother of Donald and the late Charles and Harold Speck. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 2nd, 2015 at Reynolds Funeral Home "Turner Chapel" from 1 p.m. until time of Celebration of Life at 2 p.m. in the chapel.
