Michael Stepanich

STEPANICH, Michael Michael Stepanich courageously battled a second bout of cancer for the past 6 months but unfortunately succumbed to his illness Sunday, November 6th, 2011 at his favourite place, his self-built home "The Billabong Inn" on Ril Lake in Baysville at the age of 72. Dear father of Darron (Colette) Stapanich of Seattle, Washington and Kristina (Sean) Preece of Milton, Ontario who cared for Mike. Son of the late Jakov and Ellie Stipanicev. Loving eldest brother of Ann (Peter) Petkovic, Ettie (David Garthwaite) Skender, the late John (Judy) Stipanicev and Elsie (Alex) May of Perth, Western Australia. Wonderful friend to all those he knew. The family will receive friends at the Bethune United Church, 1 Dickie Street, Baysville, Ontario on Saturday, November 12th, 2011 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. with the service at 1:00 p.m. The family will attend a private burial but would like to invite all to a get together "Mikey Style" at the cottage afterwards, 1019 Ril Cove Road, Baysville.
