Patrick, Mildred Mary "Millie" Surrounded by her family, Millie passed away peacefully on Friday, November 16, 2012 at The Pines Long Term Care Residence in Bracebridge in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Michael J. Patrick (former Mayor of Windsor (1954 - 1964)). Loving mother of Lynn Emmons (Tom) of Bracebridge, Michael Patrick (Bev) of Barrie and Paul Patrick (Angie) of Milton. Cherished grandmother of Joseph (Debra), Andrew (Tracy), Christopher (Jessie), David (Leeanne), Paul (Devon), Christina (Adam), Katie (Santosh), Paul John, Timothy & Benjamin and great grandmother of 14. Dear sister of the late Albert Miller. Aunt to Susan Hogan and Archbishop Michael Miller C.S.B. Millie was born in Ottawa and after graduating from secretarial college, moved to Windsor, where she was employed for ten years as a secretary at Hiram Walker. As a politician's wife, she performed her "civic duties" with much joy and dignity. Millie's life centered around her family and she was a great friend to many. She quietly donated her time to Meals on Wheels and feeding the homeless at the downtown Windsor Centre. All the while, bridge and golfing never stopped. Her deep faith in God and her loving and generous spirit will be remembered by all who knew her. The family will receive friends at Reynolds Funeral Home "Turner Chapel" on Friday, November 23, 2012 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. The service will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations can be made to The Pines.
