Moraig Mcallister

Moraig "Ginger" McAllister passed away peacefully on March 14, 2017 at SMMH in her 73rd year, with her family by her side. Devoted mother to Rhonda Payie of Bracebridge, Dr. Kenneth Payie (Kelly) of San Diego and Amber Payie (Dion) of Toronto. Loving Gran to Stephen, Samantha, Alexander and Everett. Dear sister to Ian McAllister (Jane) of Acton and Douglas McAllister of Mississauga. Cousin of Sandra Eaton (Stan) who was like a sister to her and also remembered by nephew David McAllister(Sharon). Moraig always held a special place in her heart for her homeland Scotland. After many years of working for Exhibition Place Board of Governors, her friends and colleagues knew her lovingly as "Ginger" for her beautiful red hair. The family wishes to say a special thank you to Dr. Vicki Dechert and the wonderful nurses as SMMH. At Moraig's request, she has been cremated and a celebration of life will take place at a later date to be announced.
