Pamela Durrance Dempsey

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pamela Durrance Dempsey, who left this world peacefully on Sunday, March 9th at the age of 90.

Pamela was the beloved wife of the late Charles Allen Dempsey, cherished mother of Carol Haynes (Elizabeth) of Yorkshire, England, daughter to the late Ruby Greville (nee Challoner) and Fredrick Greville of Gloucester, England.

Pamela’s faith was a guiding light in her life. She was deeply involved with both the Salvation Army Church and the Free Methodist Church, where she formed lifelong friendships and dedicated herself to serving her community.

A funeral service to honour and celebrate Pamela’s life will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Reynolds Funeral Home, 1 Mary Street, Bracebridge, at 11am, followed by a reception. Interment will take place at Langford Cemetery in the spring, where Pamela will be reunited with her beloved husband, Charles.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Pamela’s memory to Andy’s House or the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation.
