CARR, PATRICIA Died peacefully at the Roberta Place Nursing Home in Barrie, Ontario on Saturday, November 1st, 2008 in her 97th year. Loving daughter of the late Alfred and Elizabeth Jane Carr and sister of the late Margaret Ann Ward. Cherished friend of Dan and Phyllis Love of Orillia and John and Jessie Love of Woodstock. Patricia was a Secondary School Teacher at schools in Wales, Ontario, Shelburne and Cobourg. She will be remembered as a caring teacher who took the time to develop the potential of all her pupils. She cared for them deeply and was well respected in return. She developed friendships with many people, which spanned several years, and although many have pre-deceased her she continued to honour these friendships in her heart. In accordance with Patricia's wishes cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will take place at the Glenwood Chapel in Glen Orchard, Ontario on Friday, December 5th, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial gifts to the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation in Bracebridge, the Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation in Cobourg or to the Glenwood Chapel would be appreciated.
