Paul Hitchcock passed away quietly from kidney failure in his 95th year on May 23, 2017. Paul was born in Toronto in 1923 and grew up in Toronto. He married Geraldine Speedie in 1954 and they moved to Muskoka in 1955. Paul owned and operated a jewelry and watch repair store in Gravenhurst. He then taught elementary school in Gravenhurst and later in Bracebridge until his retirement in 1985. Paul and Geraldine had four children: Dan, Mary, Catherine and Pete. After Geraldine passed away, Paul married Joy Terry. Paul is survived by Joy; his four children and their spouses Pam Hitchcock and Andrew Mens; five grandchildren Jordan, Alicia, Eric, Leah and Megan; three great-grandchildren Tessa, Olivia and Owen; three step-children Calvin, Karen and Jane; and eight step-grandchildren Lisle, Doug, Greg, Stephen, Tim, Johnny, Chris and Mike. Visitation at Reynolds Funeral Home on Friday, June 2 from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9. Funeral at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on Saturday, June 3 at 11 am.
