Paul Johnson

May 25, 1941 — October 23, 2017

Paul Douglas Johnson A man of many hats. He was employed by the CP Rail. Then on to John Wheelwright Ltd. He was walking the high beams while putting up steel. He belonged to the Local 721 Iron Workers Union. Then bought Forest Rock Camp on 3 Mile Lake. Then finally buying Apple Auto Glass and Krown Rust Control franchise. He just loved to work - no job was too big or too small. He was the loving husband for 54 years of Ellen (Murray) Johnson. He was the love of her life. They had 3 sons - Ken, Wayne (Ria), Chuck (deceased). He had a loving harem of granddaughters whom he worshipped - Sydney, Keri, Kristina, Sara. He was an older brother to Bruce (deceased), Susan (Bondi), and uncle to Christian and Aaron. Brother-in-law to Donna (Murray) Hawryluk, Dr. Allen Hawryluk, nephews Dr. Allen Hawryluk Jr., Jonathon, nieces Michelle, Alicia, Holly. Great uncle to Ella. These people will have special memories of Paul that they will keep close to their hearts. He will be forever remembered for his jokes, laughter, and smile. He had a great affection for all dogs - no dog was unwelcomed at the Johnson home. Ellen would like to especially thank Dr. Cross, and the SMMH nurses and the palliative care team Jan Nielsen and Kailee Rodgers for their care and kindness.
