Penny Joiner

Our sweet mother Penny went to be with her Lord after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at age 73.  Penny was born to John & Olive (Fieldhouse) Turley on November 18, 1945 in Etwell, (Chaffey Township) Ontario.

Dear mother to Sharie (Aaron), Patti (Mark), Julie, Ross (Kimberley) and Riley.  Beloved grandmother to Zachary, Joshua, Kevin, Charity and Rebekah.

Penny’s life shone with her servant heart, always compassionate and giving to others selflessly.  Throughout her life she worked as a nurse, at several drug stores and then retired from work at social services at the Bracebridge Salvation Army Community Church.  Penny touched everyone deeply with her bright spirit and willingness to love, care and go above and beyond.  She was deeply loved and cherished and is now receiving the rewards of her faith in heaven.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Bracebridge Salvation Army Community Church in Bracebridge at 1:00 pm with the Celebration of her Life to follow at 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be appreciated to the Bracebridge Salvation Army Community Church “kitchen fund.”  Cheques payable to the Bracebridge Salvation Army Community Church with memo line stating “Kitchen Fund.”  Messages of condolence may be made at www.reynoldsfuneral.com.
