Peter Grozelle

Grozelle, Peter Laverne March 10, 1938 - April 7, 2013 Peter Passed away at Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare, in Bracebridge, on April 7, 2013. Dearly loved husband for 38 years to Shirley Ketch. Dear father and step-father to Nevin, Chris (Karen), Shelly, Lee, Bill, Kathy, Tom (Nicky), Dale, Angie (Steve), Karen, Connie, Brad and the late Randy. Brother to Ron (Irene), Sharon (Vince), Joe and the late Fred, Calvin and Sandra. Brother-in-law to Stan. Loved by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Pete was born in Burks Falls on March 10, 1938. His family moved to Toronto, where he was raised. He moved back to Muskoka in the 60's and met his wife Shirley in 1975. He was a hard working man who was skilled in many trades. He was an acoustic engineer. He enjoyed listening to old country music, fishing, nature, going for walks and especially loved the horses at the track. He also enjoyed playing the guitar and singing. He had a great sense of humour, loved to tell stories, the life of the party...always making us laugh. A special man who will be dearly missed by all he knew, including his dog Coco. A gathering to celebrate Pete's life will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Browning Hall, in St. Thomas' Anglican Church (4 Mary St., Bracebridge, ON) from 1-3 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Reynolds Funeral Home ‘Turner Chapel' of Bracebridge.
