Peter Mueller

Peter Klaus Mueller died peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on Friday April 29th, 2016, in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Mary Jane Mueller of Bracebridge for 42 years. Dear father of George (Michelle) and David Mueller. Loving grandfather of Everett and Levi. Dear brother of Barbara (Gunther) Marunde. His nieces Jenna (Mitch) and Zarena and his great nephew Bear. Brother-in-law of Reno. He is also survived by cousins in Germany Ursula and Kristine and several other nieces and nephews and friends. Peter was adored by everyone who knew him. A loving husband, a doting uncle, a trusted play partner to his grandsons whom he cherished. He had a curious mind and an appetite for science fiction and the universe that rivaled the vastness of the cosmos. Throughout his life, Peter challenged himself constantly in his work. With his extended family, he owned and operated Katrine Golf and Country Club. He was a longtime welding inspector with TransCanada Corporation. And in 1987, he designed and built the Wellington Motel and helped oversee its operation until 2005. In the past few years, he visited Muskoka Stretchers twice a week to get limber and mingle with the many friends he met there. He was a master downward dogger. The family will receive friends at the Reynolds Funeral Home "Turner Chapel" in Bracebridge on Saturday May 7th, 2016, from 12 -1 p.m. with the service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. As your expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Charity of your choice.
