Beloved husband of the late Jean. Loving father of Ian Thomson. Dear brother of Mary Walsh (Bob), Margaret Jay (the late Ken), Ken Thomson (Verna), Ron Thomson (Mary Anne) and their families. Friends will be received at St. Thomas Anglican Church, 4 Mary St., Bracebridge, ON on Friday, July 18, 2008 where a Masonic Service of Remembrance will begin at 11:30 a.m., with the funeral to follow. Interment will be held at St. Thomas Anglican Cemetery. In Doug's memory, memorial gifts to assist his great nephew Henry acquire a Service Dog, can be made to National Service Dogs.
