Ralph Henderson Douglas October 28, 1922 - July 13, 2009 Ralph passed away in his 87th year, at The Pines in Bracebridge, on Monday, July 13th, holding Bobby's hand, his wife of 61 years. Ralph was pre-deceased by his parents Sadie & John and his older brothers Ian & Keith. He will be missed by his daughter Lindy of Windsor, John & his wife Kate of Utterson, grandsons Scott & his partner Alison Oliver of Red Deer & Shawn and his wife Tracy of Windsor. Ralph was great grandfather to Brodie of Windsor & Madison of Red Deer and uncle to many nieces & nephews. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and served overseas in World War II, including in the liberation of Holland in 1945. At Ralph's request, cremation has taken place. There will be no funeral. A celebration of Ralph's life will be announced soon. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The Pines, the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
