Raymond Stephen Dart

June 4, 1936 – February 11, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father, Raymond Dart, on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at the age of 86. Ray passed away peacefully at home, in Bracebridge, with his family and pets by his side.

Treasured son of the late William and Florence Dart of Stouffville.  Beloved husband of the late Lynne, who passed away in April 2001. Cherished father of Raymond (Krista), Heather (Steve), Grant (Shelley), and Jennifer. A dear grandfather to Connor (Victoria), Jacob (Kathleen), Tage, and Lily (Andrew). Treasured great-grandfather of Oliver and Leah.  Loving brother of Mary and the late Roy Vernon, Edna and the late Harvey Archibald, the late Muriel and Bud Leggett, the late Vera Dart and predeceased by his brother William (survived by his wife Jean) and Robert (survived by his wife Winnifred).  Ray will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Our dad will be most remembered for his kind heart and for always taking the time to say hello.  He was always one to share a kind word and to help those in need. Dad was very selfless and, in even his last days, made sure that everyone else was okay.  He will be especially remembered for the twinkle in his eyes and for his mischievous smile.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at Reynolds Funeral Home, 1 Mary Street, Bracebridge, Ontario on February 15th from 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m.  A memorial service will take place at the St. Thomas Anglican Church, 4 Mary Street, Bracebridge, Ontario on February 16th at 1 pm with a reception to follow.
