Robert Franklin "Bob" Borne died peacefully at The Pines Long Term Care Residence in Bracebridge on Sunday, January 31st, 2016 in his 94th year. Beloved husband of Marilyn Borne of Bracebridge. Dear father Deborah (Nathan) Simmons, Mark (Noreen) Borne and Daniel (Lisa) Borne. Loving grandfather of Derek (Alicia). Dear brother of Dorothy, Cathy, Phyllis and the late Velma, Ted, Douglas and Donald. The family would like to send out a special thank you to the staff and management at The Pines, for their kindness and excellent care over the years. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. As your expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or The Pines Support Committee.
