Robert Cheetham

Robert James Cheetham, at age 83, died of complications due to a stroke on October 23, 2022, in Bracebridge, Ontario. Robert is survived by his wife, Dianne Cheetham, of 32 years and his loving family.

Robert was born on April 5th 1939 in Waubaushene, Ontario to parents Charles and Lyla Cheetham. In 1982 he moved to Bracebridge and accepted a position as a Union Representative at Alcan Aluminum. Robert was a hard working devoted man. He married Dianne in 1990 and resided in Fraserburg, Ontario. After building his own home on the south branch of the Muskoka River.

Robert was a social, active man who was deeply involved in his community for the majority of his life. He enjoyed hockey, horseshoes, and working with his hands. His family and friends will always remember him as a generous, reliable person.

Robert Murdock will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Robert’s life.
