Robert Hicks

HICKS, Robert Nelson David (Bob) - 1933 - 2014 Bob passed away unexpectedly at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge, on Tuesday, November 25, 2014, in his 82nd year. He was the son of Bert and Jean (Crombie) Hicks of Scarborough. Bob was married to his beloved wife Joan (Chillman) for 60 years. He was the father of Sandra Lee Hicks (Mark Breese) of Niagara Falls, and the proud grandfather of Gemma and Austin Hicks-Breese. Bob was a graduate of McMaster University and the University of Ottawa. He was a member of Parliament for several years, following a long and successful career as an educator. Bob had a kind heart, a quick wit, and was always a magnanimous contributor to his community. Friends are welcome to celebrate Bob's life with his family at Reynolds Funeral Home, ‘Turner Chapel', in Bracebridge, on Friday, November 28, 2014 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 1:30 p.m. As your expression of sympathy, memorial donations to The Michael J.
