Robert Joseph "Bob" Merrill died peacefully at Muskoka Shores in Gravenhurst on Thursday, November 17th, 2016 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Irma Merrill. Dear father of Lee Coles (Tim), Greg Merrill (Debbie), Jim Merrill (Allison), Kimberley Dubeau (Steve) and Scott Merrill (Susan). Loving grandfather of Donovan, Jeremy, TJ, Brett, Cassie, Tiffany, Alasdair, Lliam, Brent, Ryan, Niki, Shaina, Jennifer, Melissa, Katie, Celeste and Amy. Great grandfather of many. Predeceased by his 4 sisters Alberta, Ruth, Willa and Phyllis. At Bob's request cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Bob's Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Bracebridge on Friday December 2, 2016 from 1p.m. to 5p.m. As your expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation, the Shriner's Hospital or the O.S.P.C.A.
