Robert Sage

Robert (Bob) Sage, 85, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 23, 2019, at South Muskoka Hospital.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Bea Sage, and the loving father to his special son, John, and daughter, Jennifer (Todd Koeck). He is remembered fondly by his grandchildren Braden, Charlotte and Carson. He is also survived by his extended family Mary Beth (Tom Birkett) and D'Arcy Carney (Donna). As the last of the Sage clan, he is reunited with his predeceased siblings Peggy, Dorothy, Hazel, Mary and Gordon.

For close to two decades, Bob made Muskoka home, where he was surrounded by many friends and family. He was a car enthusiast at heart and enjoyed any vintage car he could get his hands or eyes on.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 1st from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Muskoka Steamship and Discovery Centre, on The Wharf, in Gravenhurst (275 Steamship Bay Rd). Bob spent many hours volunteering as he led tours at the museum, and so it is a fitting location to celebrate his remarkable life.
