Robert Wright

Robert R .S. Wright born July 3, 1936 died peacefully on July 28, 2015 at the Madawaska Valley Hospice Palliative Care Center with his family by his side. Beloved husband and best friend of Jeannette Wright (Kelly) for over 40 years. Loving Father of Shannon (Noel), Matthew (deceased) and Joshua. Father of Cindy, Susan, Robert, Felicity and Lisa from a previous marriage. Son of the late Arthur and Marjorie Wright (Robinson). Grandfather of five Grandchildren and future Grandpa of "Baby Thumper". Survived by his only sister Betty Barnes (Ken) and one aunt, Gladys Cancelli. He will be missed by countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Bob bravely conquered many health challenges including a second chance at life, having a liver transplant in 1998. He was a promoter and mentor of organ donation through the T-PALS organization which he founded. Bob enjoyed 53 years in the General Insurance Business where he met many good friends. Friends will be received at the Reynolds Funeral Home ‘Turner Chapel', Bracebridge on Thursday, July 30, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Bracebridge on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery.
