Ronald Frankland

"Peacefully at Hospice Huntsville on Monday, February 20, 2017 at the age of 84. Ron was predeased by his parents William and Edith Frankland. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Arlene Frankland, children Richard, Bradley, Dennis, Michele, Todd and Dawn and their respective spouses Cindy, Tania, John, Indar and Pierre, as well as his grandchildren Tyler, Jessica, Christine, Scott and Ivy and great-grandchildren Callan and Logan. Ron will be fondly remembered by his younger brothers, William, Laurie, John and Robert and their families. He will be missed by the members of the Windermere District Lions Club, many friends and his close knit community. Born and raised in Muskoka, Ron spent many years in the Georgina area as a local contractor and member of the Keswick and District Lions Club before retiring back to Muskoka. The family would like to thank Closing the Gap Healthcare, Hospice Huntsvile and his many friends for the excellent care and assistance during Ron's illness. A memorial service followed by a Celebration of Life will be held at Raymond Community Centre, 2013 Highway 141, Utterson on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations to Hospice Huntsville or Windermere District Lions Club in lieu of flowers would be appreciated.
