McCLURE, Ronald John Wesley—passed peacefully surrounded by family at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital on February 18, 2023. Ron, beloved husband of 61 years to Rhoda McClure.

Loving father of Kirk McClure (Ginette), Lorelei McMorran (Ken), and Keith McClure. Cherished Grampa to Wes (Jessica), Tina (Brad), Holly (Mark), Heidi (Luke), Luke, and Seth. Proud great-grandfather of Olivia, Claire, Carson, Rylee, Cooper, and Ben.

Predeceased by his parents, Wesley and Irene McClure. Loving brother of Dorothy Lewington, predeceased by brothers, Ken, Neil, and sister June.

Ron will be fondly remembered by many sisters-in-laws, brothers-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. He will always be remembered for his great love and dedication to his family.

Ron’s real legacy is the series of values he passed on to his kids, involving hard work, and being kind and compassionate, which he did by quiet example. He was respected, admired, and well-loved. He will always hold a special place in our hearts.

A memorial visitation will take place at Reynolds Funeral Home on Saturday, February 25, 2023, beginning at 10:00 am, with a memorial service following at 11:00 am. The memorial service will be live-streamed for those who cannot make it.
