Rosa Wagner Obituary
May 28, 1925 – October 15, 2024
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rosa Wagner on October 15, 2024 at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, Bracebridge, ON.
She was born on May 28, 1925, in Munich, Germany, having only one brother who was 3 years older and predeceased her in 1992 in Munich, Germany. Rosa's first and only marriage, in 1944 was to a man 30 years her senior that was her way of leaving Germany. She was a survivor of the Second World War. Taking up residency in Toronto where they lived for 16 years, Rosa and her husband bought their first home on Front Street in Bracebridge. She lived there for 5 years until her husband’s timely death 3 years later.
In 1968, she met Klemens Klinkoz who was their groundskeeper at her home on Front Street. Life went on as Rosa and Klem became more than friends. In 1968, Rosa and Klem moved to Fraserburg Road building their home until Klem’s passing in 1971. On March 3, 2002, at the age of 81 years old, Rosa sold her home as the workload became too great. Moving to McVittie Place where she resided for many years. Rosa has lived at Castle Peak for the remainder of her life enjoying playing cards, BINGO, and making new friends. She never wanted to impose, was a quiet soul in nature, and a strong survivor. She was quite a lady. Miss you. Rest in Peace.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to OSPCA Muskoka or a charity of your choice.
