Rosemary Amey

June 20, 1915 — January 2, 2009

Rosemary "Betty" Thompson Amey (nee Hillman) Long time resident of Port Carling, passed away peacefully at Leisureworld Muskoka in Gravenhurst on Friday, January 2nd, 2009 in her 94th year. She was predeceased by her first husband James Bell Thompson, in 1980 and by her second husband Leonard William Amey in 1995. She leaves to mourn her brother Charles Hillman in Vancouver, her children Jim Thompson and his wife Merilyn of Cambridge, Neil Thompson and his wife Judy of Toronto, Vaughan Quinton and her husband Allan of Utterson, eight grandchildren and fourteen great-children. A Memorial Service will be held at The Turner Centre, 120 Taylor Rd., in Bracebridge on Wednesday, January 7th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. James Anglican Church in Port Carling, Ontario. Arrangements entrusted to Reynolds Funeral Home "Turner Chapel", Bracebridge. Messages may be left at www.reynoldsfueral.com
