Ruby Erb

Ruby Catherine Erb died peacefully at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge on Sunday, March 15th, 2015 in her 71st year. Beloved wife of Paul Erb of Bracebridge. Loving mother of Terence (Francine), James (Natalie) and Tamara Beelien (Paul). Cherished grandmother of Calyssa Erb, Brent Erb, Justin Erb, Isabelle Erb and Ryan Beelien-Cass. Sister of Ruth Howel, Helen Dippel, Gerald Gerber, Eleanor Clark, Eldon Gerber, Anita Nafziger, Evelyn Shelton, Fern Schantz, Grant Gerber and the late Paul Gerber. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ruby loved life and her family. She married her childhood sweet heart. She met her husband when they were 9 years old. They married at 18 years of age and have had 53 incredible years together. They built a beautiful life for their family in Bracebridge - where they loved the community and their many friends of over 40 years. Ruby loved their cottage; her favourite activity was a swim before breakfast with her grandchildren. Her energy and passion has been passed along to these grandchildren. She will be missed by all. The family will receive friends at the Reynolds Funeral Home "Turner Chapel" in Bracebridge on Thursday, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Memorial service will be held at Bracebridge United Church on Friday, March 20th, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. As your expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation or Colon Cancer Canada.
