Ruth Munro

MUNRO, Ruth Alice March 2, 1928 - March 11, 2018 Passed away peacefully at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at the age of 90. Ruth Munro (nee Westlake) beloved wife of the late Kenneth Munro. Daughter of the late Charles and Ethel Westlake. Ruth was predeceased by her sisters Dorothy and Thelma and brothers Doug and Ron. She also leaves behind her brother Ken (Eileen), sister-in-law Kay and fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends Ruth and Ken lived in Alameda, California for over 30 years before returning to Canada and settling in Muskoka. Ruth volunteered at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital and enjoyed talking and kidding around with people. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Ruth's Life to be announced at a later date. Donations can be made to the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation or Royal Canadian Legion.
