Shirley Flaherty

Shirley passed away peacefully at the South Lake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, on Friday, June 29, 2018 at age 78. Predeceased by her parents Roy and Birdie Johnson. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence Grant Flaherty (1993). Loving mother of Sherrie Donohue (Rick), Colleen Groen (Bob) and Daniel Flaherty (Suzanne). Proud grandmother of Taylor, Andrew & Lauren Groen. Predeceased by her siblings Delbert Johnson (Bernice), Karl Johnson (Geordie), Lloyd Johnson, Arnold Johnson, Keith Johnson (Aloma) and Thelma Baird (Nelson). Survived by sister in law Ruth Johnson. Friends will be received for visitation at Reynolds Funeral Home in Bracebridge, on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 from 9:30 am - 11:00 am. The funeral will be held Wednesday at St. Thomas Anglican Church (across the street from the funeral home) at 11:00 am. Reception to follow. The interment will be held at 2:30 pm at St. Stephens Anglican Cemetery, Vankoughnet. As your expression of sympathy, memorial donations made to Sick Kids Foundation or to St. Stephen's Anglican Church - Vankoughnet would be appreciated.
