Shirley Gauley

GAULEY, Shirley Bernice - passed away peacefully at Muskoka Hills Retirement Residence, on Saturday, December 9th, 2017 in her 94th year. Shirley was the beloved wife of the late Joe Gauley (2005). Left to mourn her loss are her daughter Judy Hines (Gord), daughter-in-law Lydia Shier and stepsons James Gauley (Fausta) and John Gauley (Norma). Proud grandmother of 10 and "Grandy" to her 8 great grandchildren. Also missed by her sister-in-law Norma Kaye (Gordon). Predeceased by her first husband Wilf Shier, her son John Shier, parents Norman and Lillian Kaye of Milford Bay, ON, her brothers Gordon Kaye, Jim Kaye (Anne), Ken Kaye (Eva), Don Kaye (Ruth), and sisters Bea Nicholson (Ralph), Norma Kempling (Harold), and Elaine Kaye. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Bracebridge United Church on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 11:00am followed by a reception in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Bracebridge United Church or South Muskoka Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Reynolds Funeral Home, Bracebridge.
