GENNOE-VERWERS, Geertje "Teddy" Passed away peacefully at Muskoka Shores Nursing Home in Gravenhurst on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at the age of 89. Dear partner of Gerald Brooks and wife of the late Harold Gennoe. Cherished mother of Nickey (Henk) Breuker-Gennoe and Gwen (Todd) Rumble. Loving grandmother of David (Linda) Breuker, Steve (Sherri) Breuker, Tyler (Candace Parlette-Anderson) White, Adam (Emma Kuzmaski) White, Mike Rumble and Rebecca Rumble. Great grandmother of Leesa, Marley, Bryson, Michayla, Jaxson, Sophia-Belle and Levi. Teddy is predeceased by her brother Nicholas Verwers. The family will receive friends at Reynolds Funeral Home "Turner Chapel" on Friday, February 26, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A gathering to celebrate Teddy will be held at the Bracebridge United Church hall located on the lower level on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. with informal prayers at 12:30 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, flowers or memorial donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
